Action Planet Malta reaches out to all areas of society and so the initiative is clearly divided into 3 areas:
The Education Initiative:
Reaches out to children and higher education students between the ages of 3 – 25.
Schools are invited to participate in the different Action Planet activities. They can choose as many or as few as they would like. The activities include workshops, clean ups, in class activities and YRE, Young Reporters for the Environment research projects that have the chance of being displayed at the exhibition in February.
Higher education students from different disciplines will be working with their tutors and Action Planet on different project initiatives outlined in the Higher Education tab.
The Corporate/ NGO/ Government Ministry Initiative:
Action Planet brings together organisations, NGOs, businesses and government ministries in Think Tanks, focus groups, talks, events and collaborative projects to to explore viable solutions to Malta’s growth and sustainability.
The Outreach Initiative:
Action Planet have united CRPD, the Commission for the Rights of Persons with Disability, with Inspire and local artists in an art initiative to create a large piece of art out of recycled materials which will be displayed at the exhibition.
